5. HOW POINTS ARE EARNED
5.1 HOW TO TAKE PART
By clicking the “PLAY” button at any time while the trophy is active, each participant, as user
of their App, can start tracking their trips. With every itinerary completed, the player earns points.
The main features of the app’s tracking function are briefly summarised below. For more detailed information, please refer to the Operating Conditions of the APP, available in the dedicated section of the APP.
The trip tracking function is used exclusively for the purposes of the game, to validate the travel choice made by the player, and for any statistical and research purposes.
For it to work, the player must have enabled geolocation on their mobile device.
To activate tracking of trips on foot, by bike, by bus or by train, the user must click “PLAY” on the app and select the mode of travel they want to track: “on foot”, “bike/scooter”, “public transport”, “carpooling”. The app will start tracking the itinerary, saving some information needed to validate it.
During the trip, you can change the tracking mode by selecting the icon of a different means of transport.
At the end of the trip, select “STOP”: you will be able to view the trip details and check how many points have been awarded.
Points are earned as follows:
The player earns a number of points proportional to the distance travelled on foot, by bike, by scooter, by e-bike, by electric motorbike and car and by public transport, measured according to the itinerary tracked via the app.
There are bonuses that proportionally increase the number of points collected depending on:
time of the trip;
weather conditions;
change in altitude;
peak traffic hours;
home-to-work or home-to-school trip;
smart-working day;
presence of MUV Places.
The MUV Places coincide with the stadiums of the Serie A clubs: players who arrive at or depart from one of these stadiums will be awarded bonus points on the current weekly match.
The user can check their status in the game by accessing the Tournament section.
The points collected by players playing for the same Team will count towards the calculation of the Team’s score.
5.2 HOW TEAM POINTS ARE EARNED
Each Team’s points are given by the sum of the points of the eleven players of that team who have collected the most points plus the average score of all the other players.
At the end of each match, the top 11 players of each Team will receive the title of the team’s Best Player.
The average score of all the other players is subject to a bonus depending on the number of players supporting the team:
+5% → 20 players
+10% → 40 players
+15% → 80 players
+20% → 150 players
+25% → 300 players
+30% → 600 players
+35% → 1200 players
+40% → 2400 players
+45% → 4800 players
+50% → 9600 players
The Player can check their status in the game in real time by accessing the Tournament section.
5.3 HOW GOALS ARE AWARDED
Goals are awarded when the Team reaches specific score thresholds.
The thresholds for awarding goals are as follows:
Each Team will accumulate goals as it reaches these score thresholds during the competition.
At the end of the match, the team with the most goals will be declared the winner and will earn three points in the league table; in the event of a draw, both teams will receive one point, while in the event of a defeat, the losing team will not earn any points.
6. TEAM AWARDS AND USER AWARDS
6.1 DISTRIBUTION OF AWARDS
Fantacalcio Premium Accounts:
30 Fantacalcio Premium Accounts will be awarded, assigned through a prize draw, one for each of the first 30 matchdays of the tournament. The prize draw will take place among the players who have been awarded the Best Player title.
7. GUARANTEES AND OBLIGATIONS
The online collection of names for participation in the competition and the mechanism for the automatic allocation and counting of points will be carried out by computer software.
In the event of clear and detectable attempts at fraud and of false and inaccurate statements, the Promoter reserves the right to immediately delete the user or any votes deemed to have been acquired in an invalid manner and/or not in compliance with the rules.
Users who, in the unquestionable judgement of the Promoting Company or of third parties appointed by it, participate using means and tools capable of circumventing randomness, or who are in any case deemed to act in a suspicious or fraudulent manner or in breach of the normal conduct of the initiative, will be excluded from participation and will not be able to enjoy any prize won. Points obtained through the use of software deemed suspicious, fraudulent or in breach of the rules of the game, if identified or considered as such with the means and knowledge available to the managing software house, will be cancelled and the leaderboard will be restored on the basis of the data that have not been cancelled.
Therefore, the Promoting Company, or third parties appointed by it, reserve the right to take action against all participants in the terms deemed most appropriate (including, if deemed necessary, requesting an identity document) and in compliance with applicable laws.
If, following checks, it is found that fraudulently obtained points have benefited a specific participant, regardless of the leaderboard resulting from their removal, the promoter reserves the right to disqualify that participant.
Furthermore, the promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who has obtained points through unlawful actions.
Participants’ data will be collected in compliance with EU Regulation 679/2016 (“GDPR”).
8. PRIVACY
In order for the game to take place, it is necessary to collect and process information relating to the route of the trips made via the app and to the game results. The player’s personal data will be processed in full compliance with the organising company’s current privacy legislation and handled as specified in the full privacy policy available in the dedicated section of MUV, which the user must have read and accepted when creating their account.
