Rules – Challenge USAP

1. Organisers

This challenge (“Challenge”) is organised within a partnership between MUV B Corp, Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole and USAP (Union Sportive Arlequins Perpignanais), with the support of the Mob’Sport partnership programme.

2. Purpose

Initiated and supported by the French Ministry for the Ecological Transition under the Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) scheme, this programme helps sports clubs reduce the carbon footprint of travel linked to sporting events. Its operational implementation is jointly led by Union Sport & Cycle and the company ROZO.

Indeed, spectator travel is today the main source of greenhouse gas emissions of a sporting event.

3. Duration

The Challenge will be announced from 18 September 2026 and will start on 26 September 2026, on the occasion of the second home fixture of the Top 14 championship. It will end on 15 May 2027 on matchday 24, with the home match USAP–Bayonne.

4. Scope

For the purposes of the Challenge, only sustainable trips made to and/or from the Aimé-Giral stadium – located at 11, allée Aimé Giral in Perpignan - the venue of USAP's home matches - are counted.

5. How it works

5.1 Who can take part

The Challenge is open to all MUV Game users who record their sustainable trips to/from the Aimé-Giral stadium via the app, using the supported travel modes. Participation is allowed from the age of 16.

5.2 Challenge activation

The Challenge is active exclusively on USAP home match days. Outside these dates, trips are not counted for the purposes of the Challenge.

5.3 Registration and rankings

At registration, each participant declares whether they are a USAP season-ticket holder for the current season and provides their USAP membership number as well as their first and last name. Based on this declaration, the participant is placed in one of the two rankings provided: “Members” or “Non-members”. This choice is final for the whole season and cannot be changed afterwards.

5.4 How to earn tickets

A system of “tickets” giving access to a prize draw is in place according to the following terms:

  • Each validated trip, made to and/or from the stadium on home match days, awards a variable number of ticket(s) depending on the mode of transport used:
    • 2 tickets for a trip made on foot (at least 1 km), by bicycle (including electrically assisted) or by public transport (bus, train and coach);
    • 1 ticket for a trip made by car pooling.
  • On each match day, it is possible to record a maximum of 2 trips valid for the purposes of the Challenge (typically the outward and return trips); any additional trip recorded on the same day does not generate an additional ticket.
  • The maximum number of tickets that a single participant can obtain for a given match is 4 for a round trip.
5.5 Game window and prize-draw schedule

For the purposes of the Challenge, the match day (“game window”) runs, on match day, from 3 hours before kick-off until 3 hours after the final whistle. Only trips recorded within this window are taken into account for awarding the tickets of that match. The prize draw referred to in article 8.1 takes place on the Tuesday following each home match, to allow the validation of reports received during the weekend.

6. Home match calendar

For the purposes of the Challenge, as indicated in article 3, the home matches open to the challenge run from 26 September to 15 May 2027, i.e. 13 home matches.

7. Trip tracking and validation

To record a sustainable trip, simply press the “PLAY” button and select the chosen travel mode among those available.

Once tracking has started, information about the user's location and activity is collected; it is essential for validating the trip.

During the trip, it is possible to change mode by pressing the “SWITCH” button and selecting a new means of transport.

At the end of the trip, press “STOP” to stop tracking and start the automatic validation and ticket-attribution procedures.

Once the trip is finished, it is possible to view its details and the tickets obtained. If a trip is not validated by mistake, it is possible to request a new check via the “Give us feedback” option.

To enable tracking, the device's location services must be activated; they are used exclusively to validate sustainable trips as well as for statistical and research purposes. It is advisable to disable functions such as battery/power saving. MUV is not responsible for the loss of GPS points or trips due to device malfunctions, disconnections or other third-party technical problems.

8. Rewards and assignment

8.1 Prize draw after each home match

At the end of each home match, among all participants who recorded at least one valid trip in the game window of article 5.5, 2 rewards are drawn: one among the “Members” and one among the “Non-members”. The draw is carried out automatically by MUV. Each participant receives a number of ticket(s) for the draw proportional to the number and type of trip(s) recorded for that match, according to the grid in article 5.4: the higher the number of tickets, the greater the probability of being drawn. The draw takes place on the Tuesday following the match, as indicated in article 5.5.

8.2 Season ranking and grand prize

A general season ranking is also established for both groups (Members and Non-members), based on the sum of the tickets obtained across all home matches. At the end of the season (match of 15 May 2027), a grand prize is awarded to the participant (1 per group) “Members” / “Non-members” who has accumulated the most points. In the event of a tie, a draw will be carried out.

8.3 Rewards table

This list of rewards may change depending on compliance with the calendar indicated in article 6.
