This challenge is an initiative of ISPRA and MUV B Corp.
The competition will run from 01 March 2026 to 31 May 2026.
The challenge will be divided into 3 consecutive months, defined as follows:
At the end of each period, the count of valid trips will be automatically reset to zero.
The initiative is open to participants residing throughout Italy and aims to promote more sustainable ways of getting around.
The challenge is open to the ISPRA community of MUV Game users, up to a maximum of 100 users, who record their sustainable trips with the MUV Game app, using the supported modes.
Participants earn points by recording their sustainable trips with the MUV Game app, provided that all the following rules are met:
Tracking
The trip must be tracked entirely with the app.
Eligible trip (home–work)
The trip must match the user’s “Frequent trip” as set in the app (also referred to as home–work trip).
Use of public transport
The recorded trips as a whole must include at least one journey made by public transport, recognised by the app as Bus, Coach, Metro or Train.
Automatic validation
The route must be recognised and validated by the automatic algorithms of the MUV system.
Daily limit
Only a maximum of 1 valid trip per day is counted.
➜ Consequently: to reach a threshold of N trips, you need N different days with at least one valid trip recorded.
Example: threshold of 6 trips = 6 days with 1 valid trip/day.
Exclusions
Trips that are partial, not consistent with the Frequent trip or lacking at least one use of public transport do not generate points and do not contribute to reaching the threshold.
Sustainable trips are tracked and verified as follows:
Please remember that, to enable tracking, you need to activate the device’s location services, which are used exclusively to validate sustainable trips and for statistical and research purposes.
For tracking to work properly, we recommend disabling features such as battery saver or power saving, which could interfere with the recording of trips. MUV accepts no liability for any loss of GPS points or trips due to device malfunctions, external interference such as internet disconnections or other third-party technical problems.
Further details are available in the “Support” section of the app and in the Terms and Conditions of Use.
The overall duration of the initiative is divided into three consecutive months.
In each month, each participant can obtain a cash contribution of:
€20 on reaching 6 valid trips, made and validated as described in the app and in these rules.
To be considered valid:
At the end of each period, the count of valid trips will be automatically reset to zero, allowing participants to accumulate trips again towards the threshold set for the following period.
Each participant can obtain up to a maximum of 3 prizes in total, one for each period, for a maximum total value of €60.
The prize is awarded only on reaching the stated threshold; there is no calculation based on kilometres travelled. Only trips that fully comply with the provisions of these rules are considered valid.
At the end of the challenge, following final checks, participants who have earned one or more prizes based on the thresholds reached will be contacted by email.
The email will contain a link to a questionnaire to be filled in to provide the information needed to issue the prize.
Completing the questionnaire is a necessary condition for the prize to be delivered.
The methods, timing and amount of the payment will be defined based on the thresholds actually reached by each participant and communicated by email.
📢 This initiative has charitable and social purposes and therefore does not fall within the prize promotions governed by Presidential Decree no. 430 of 26 October 2001 (art. 6, paragraph e).
🔒 Protection of personal data
For the challenge to run properly, information on the trips recorded through the app will be collected and processed.
✔️ All personal data will be handled in compliance with current regulations on privacy.
