ISPRA – BIKE TO WORK 2 – Rules

1. Organisers

This challenge is an initiative of ISPRA and MUV B Corp.

2. Duration

Challenge period: from 06/02/2026 to 03/06/2026.

3. Geographical scope

The initiative is open to participants resident throughout Italy and aims to promote more sustainable ways of getting around.

4. How it works

4.1 Who can take part?

The challenge is open to the ISPRA community of MUV Game users, up to a maximum of 100 users, who record their sustainable trips through the MUV Game app, using the supported modes.

4.2 Objective of the Challenge

This is a Collaborative Challenge, in which all players contribute to a collective score to reach three milestone thresholds.

✅ Badges are awarded each time a threshold is passed.
✅ The points/km accumulated by each participant are added to the overall total.
✅ The overall score determines whether the challenge objectives are reached.

4.3 How are points/km accumulated?

Participants earn points/km by recording their sustainable trips through the MUV Game app, provided that:

🔹 The trip is tracked through the app.
🔹 The starting and arrival point corresponds to the chosen home-to-work trip .
🔹 The route is validated by the automatic algorithms of the MUV service.

Trips that do not meet these requirements will not be counted towards the score.

5. Tracking and verification of trips

Sustainable trips are tracked and verified as follows:

  • To record a sustainable trip, simply tap the “PLAY” button and select the sustainable mode of transport chosen from those available. The modes supported by MUV for the challenge are: on foot, by bicycle and by e-bike.
  • Once tracking has started, information on the user’s position and activity will be collected, which is essential for validating the trip.
  • During the trip you can change the mode of transport by tapping the “SWITCH” button and selecting the icon for a different means of transport.
  • At the end of the trip, simply select “STOP” to end tracking and start the automatic procedures for validating the trip and consequently awarding the points.
  • Once the trip has ended, you can view the details of your trip and the points earned on the dedicated detail screen. If the trip has not been validated by mistake, you can request a further check through the “Give us feedback” option on the trip detail screen or in the side menu of the app.
  • The points earned by the player with each certified sustainable trip are proportional to the distance travelled and the mode of transport used. In addition, there are extra bonuses, which proportionally increase the number of points obtained depending on various factors, including: weather conditions, altitude (only for trips on foot or by bike), peak traffic hours, Places, home-to-work or home-to-school trips and frequency of app use.

Please remember that, to enable tracking, you need to activate the device’s location services, which are used exclusively to validate sustainable trips and for statistical and research purposes.

For tracking to work properly, we recommend disabling features such as battery saver or power saving, which could interfere with the recording of trips. MUV accepts no liability for any loss of GPS points or trips due to device malfunctions, external interference such as internet disconnections or other third-party technical problems.

Further details are available in the “Support” section of the app and in the Terms and Conditions of Use.

6. Prizes and awarding

6.1 Prizes up for grabs

ISPRA promotes sustainable mobility by granting a financial contribution to employees who adopt active and sustainable ways of getting around.

The contribution is determined as follows:

  • €0.20 for every kilometre travelled, up to a maximum of €50 per month for each participant.

To access the monthly mobility bonus, each participant must record at least five trips on five different days within the same month.
Only once this minimum requirement has been met will the virtual wallet be unlocked and it will be possible to accumulate the incentive for the kilometres travelled.

Trips recorded before the monthly requirement is met will not be counted immediately, but will be recovered and credited automatically to the wallet once the requirement has been met.

The total prize pool available for the entire initiative amounts to €2,400. This amount will be shared among the participants in accordance with the conditions and criteria set out in these rules.

6.2 Points/km thresholds

First threshold – 1,000 total km
→ The first MUV badge will be awarded.

Second threshold – 5,000 total km
→ The second MUV badge will be awarded.

Third threshold – 12,000 total km
→ The third MUV badge will be awarded.

7. Delivery of prizes

At the end of the challenge, once the final checks have been completed, the total contributions accrued by the participants will be paid by bank transfer within the hours or days following the close of the challenge.

8. Nature of the initiative

📢 This initiative has charitable and social purposes and therefore does not fall within the prize promotions governed by Presidential Decree no. 430 of 26 October 2001 (art. 6, paragraph e).
