This challenge is an initiative of MUV B Corp in partnership with Sole Luna Doc Film Festival, the international documentary film festival organised by the Associazione Sole Luna – Un ponte tra le culture.
Challenge period: from 06/07/2026 to 11/07/2026, closing at 11:59 PM.
The initiative is open to participants located in Sicily. For the purposes of the challenge, only sustainable trips that start from or arrive at the event venues – Galleria d’Arte Moderna and Palazzo Branciforte (Palermo) and any further venues indicated by the organisation – home of the Sole Luna Doc Film Festival 2026 (6–12 July 2026), are counted. The goal is to promote more sustainable modes of travel to and from the festival.
The challenge is open to all MUV Game users who record their sustainable trips with departure from or arrival at the festival venues (Galleria d’Arte Moderna and Palazzo Branciforte, Palermo) through the MUV Game app, using the supported modes.
The challenge is collaborative: all players contribute to a collective score to reach three thresholds.
✅ Upon passing each threshold, all participants win a badge.
✅ The points accumulated by each participant are added to the general total.
✅ The overall score determines the achievement of the objectives of the challenge.
Participants earn points by recording their sustainable trips through the MUV Game app, provided that:
🔹 The trip starts from or arrives at the festival venues (Galleria d’Arte Moderna or Palazzo Branciforte, Palermo).
🔹 The route is tracked through the app.
🔹 The route is validated by the automatic algorithms of the MUV service.
Trips that do not meet these requirements will not be counted for the purpose of scoring.
The mechanism for tracking and verifying sustainable trips works in the following way:
It should be remembered that, in order to allow tracking, it is necessary to activate the device location services, used exclusively to validate sustainable trips and for statistical and research purposes.
For proper tracking, it is recommended to turn off functions such as battery or energy saving, which may interfere with route recording. MUV assumes no responsibility in case of loss of GPS points or routes due to device anomalies, external interference such as internet disconnections or other third-party technical issues.
More details are available in the “Support” section of the app and in the Terms and Conditions of Use.
Upon passing each collective score threshold, all participants win a badge.
First threshold – 5,000 points overall
→ the first MUV badge will be awarded.
Second threshold – 20,000 points overall
→ the second MUV badge will be awarded.
Third threshold – 50,000 points overall
→ the third MUV badge will be awarded.
3 prizes provided by Sole Luna Doc Film Festival are up for grabs, featuring the graphic identity of the 21st edition:
🥇 1st prize – 1 free meal (for the Festival award evening at the GAM bar managed by Epyc) + 1 t-shirt + 1 tote bag + 1 Festival catalogue.
🥈 2nd prize – 1 t-shirt + 1 tote bag + 1 Festival catalogue.
🥉 3rd prize – 1 tote bag + 1 Festival catalogue.
The 3 prizes are assigned by random draw among the best players, i.e. those with the highest score in the overall leaderboard of the challenge. The number of players eligible for the draw depends on the collective threshold reached at the end of the challenge:
🔹 First threshold reached → the 3 winners are drawn from the top 5 players in the leaderboard.
🔹 Second threshold reached → the 3 winners are drawn from the top 10 players.
🔹 Third threshold reached → the 3 winners are drawn from the top 15 players.
Prizes are matched in order of draw: the first player drawn receives the 1st prize, the second drawn the 2nd prize and the third drawn the 3rd prize.
The higher your position in the leaderboard, the higher your chances of being drawn: better-ranked players receive a larger number of tickets for the draw. Each user can win only one prize.
Winners will be contacted by email directly by Sole Luna Doc Film Festival, which will handle the delivery of the prizes. MUV is not responsible for the distribution of the prizes.
Should a winner have an incorrect email or a private/invalid email linked to their MUV account, making it impossible to contact them, the prize will be reassigned to the next player following the order of the draw.
📢 This initiative has charitable and social purposes, therefore it is not part of the prize events governed by the D.P.R. October 26, 2001, no. 430 (art. 6, paragraph e).
🔒 Protection of personal data
