2. Duration

Challenge period: from 12/01/2026 to 31/01/2026.

3. Territorial area

The initiative is open to participants residing throughout Europe and aims to promote more sustainable modes of travel.

4. Methods of carrying out the initiative

4.1 Who can participate?

The challenge is open to all MUV Game users, who record their sustainable travel through the MUV Game app, using the supported modes.

4.2 Objective of the Challenge

The challenge is collaborative, in which all players contribute to a collective score to reach three thresholds.

✅ Upon passing each threshold, are badge.
✅ The points accumulated by each participant are added to the general total.
✅ The overall score determines the achievement of the objectives of the challenge.

4.3 How do points accumulate?

Participants get points by recording their sustainable travel through the MUV Game app, provided that:

🔹 The route is tracked through the app.
🔹 The route is validated by the automatic algorithms of the MUV service.

Shifts that do not meet these requirements will not be counted for the purpose of scoring.

5. Tracking and Verification of Travel

The mechanism for tracking and verifying sustainable travel takes place in the following way:

  • To record a sustainable shift, simply click on the PLAY“PLAY” button and select the sustainable move mode chosen from those available. The modes supported by MUV for the challenge are: on foot, by bike, by bike / electric scooter, by motorcycle / electric car, by public transport, by extra-urban bus, by train / meter and in car pooling.
  • Once the tracking is started, information will be collected about the location and activity of the user who are essential to carry out the validation of the path.
  • During the course you can change the mode of navigation by clicking on the SWITCH“SWITCH” button and selecting the icon for a new means of transport.
  • At STOPthe end of the move, simply select “STOP” to stop the tracking and start the automatic procedures for validating the route and consequent attribution of the points.
  • Once the section is complete, you can view the details of your move and the points earned within the dedicated detail screen. In the event that the route has not been validated by mistake, it is possible to request further verification through the “Give us feedback” option on the navigation detail screen or in the side menu of the app.
  • The points earned by the player with each certified sustainable path are proportional to the distance traveled and the mobility system adopted. In addition, there are additional bonuses, which proportionately increase the number of points obtained depending on several factors, including: weather conditions, altitude (only for walking or cycling routes), peak traffic hours, home-work or home-school and frequency in the use of the app.

It should be remembered that, in order to allow tracking, it is necessary to activate the device location services, used exclusively to validate sustainable movements and for statistical and research purposes.

For proper tracking, it is recommended to turn off functions such as battery or energy saving, which may interfere with route recording. MUV assumes no responsibility in case of loss of GPS points or routes due to device anomalies, external interference such as internet disconnections or other third-party technical issues.

More details are available in the “Present” Supportosection of the app and in the Terms and Conditions of Use.
