We couldn’t wait any longer and we can finally say it…. We are happy to share with you that MUV has been selected for publication in the ADI Design Index 2020!
The ADI Design Index 2020 represents the first volume of the biennial cycle that collects the products pre-selected for the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award 2022.
The selection, carried out by the Permanent Observatory of Design, includes products or product systems of every commodity, theoretical-critical research, process or business research applied to design.
The panorama includes products or product systems of all commodities, projects, theoretical-critical research, process or business research applied to design.
The recognition, which brings together the award-winning products, has generated the largest historical collection of design, declared in 2004 “good of national interest” (D.M. 22.04.2004).
The annual selection, a unique example in the panorama of international awards, was carried out according to a rigorous work methodology and exclusive merit criteria by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory composed of over 100 experts.
Moreover, since 2009, the ADI Design Index has become not only the pre-selection for the Compasso d’Oro Award, but also the annual selection for the National Award for Design, sponsored by the Presidency of the Republic.
Every year, this important award sees ADI nominate three products significant products from the point of view of the specific theme of innovation, identified among those published on the ADI Design Index.
The exhibition, has been long postponed due to the Covid-19 emergency, will be held in the new ADI Design Museum in Milan until 20 June 2021.
ADI Design Museum brings together over 350 Compasso d’Oro prize-winning pieces since its inception in 1954. A dynamic, constantly evolving museum that tells the story of Italian design in its industrial, economic, cultural and social aspects. In addition to the Compasso d’Oro Collection, there will be rotating thematic and in-depth exhibitions.
